Britney Spears enjoyed a shopping spree in London

There's a Gap on almost every corner in her native America, so perhaps Britney Spears was looking for a reminder of home as she enjoyed a shopping spree in London yesterday.

The singer stopped into the chain as she took some time out of her tour schedule for a spot of retail therapy.

She emerged carrying two full bags, ignoring the fact she would have had to pay more for items here than in her native United States.

Britney, along with a throng of photographers and fans, then moved on to Chloe on Sloane Street, and Jack Willis on Kings Road.

The singer is back in the capital after a less that successful visit to Manchester.
