He might be one of Liverpool's favourite son's, but footballer Steven Gerrard's wife Alex has risked upsetting the whole of Liverpool after sensationally declaring the city is 'rough.'
The party-loving WAG from Aintree, Merseyside, 26, says she no longer goes out in the city because the nightspots 'attract the wrong type of people'.
Ironically, Alex's comments made in a magazine interview came as she and her husband were seen enjoying a night out in London, days after he was sensationally acquitted of affray.
The Liverpool captain, who was cleared of assault despite admitting he repeatedly punched a man in a drunken row over music in a nightclub, took Curran for dinner to London's Nobu Berkeley restaurant.
