John Terry was preparing to face the boo boys on the football terraces this afternoon after it was revealed he had cheated on his wife with a team-mate's girlfriend.
The £170,000-a-week Chelsea captain had an affair with French underwear model Vanessa Perroncel - his wife's best friend and the partner of fellow England defender Wayne Bridge.
